Miranda Huba is a playwright, screenwriter, director and performer born in rural Canada, now living in New York City. In NYC her work has been seen at The Incubator Arts Project, HERE, Horse Trade Theater, Dixon Place, Magic Futurebox, and most recently at Madame X with Lauren Rayner Productions. Her work has been translated into German and has received German language productions at the Kleines Theater in Salzburg, Austria and Theater Tiefrot in Cologne, Germany. A reading of her play Grounded: A Play is Six Airports was presented at the inaugural Wuppertaler Literatur Biennale in Wuppertaler, Germany. She holds a BFA from the Simon Fraser University School for Contemporary Arts.
